NICFPS checkout exposure failed; hung for a while without taking an exposure and then spit out a nicfpsExpose f exposeTxt="dark failed" error. I ended up having to restart the ICC computer before it would take exposures again. We had nice clear skies all night with a little bit of humidity for a while, and no telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:23 ecamera 286( 270) -18 34 11.6 14.1 13.6 13.3 12.5 ND3 1.48 00:24 ecamera 371( 13) 94 43 7.2 7.1 7.7 7.0 7.4 ND2 1.43 05:10 tcamera 427( 1362) -5 63 9.9 8.2 8.8 7.8 9.1 Ks 0.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 35 11 265 (W) 1025 clear none 17:00 58 34 5 275 (W) 1557 clear none 18:00 59 33 3 212 (SSW) 1083 clear none 19:00 53 31 3 242 (WSW) 1104 clear none 20:00 48 40 8 91 (E) 1223 clear none 21:00 47 41 14 77 (ENE) 1408 clear none 22:00 46 41 13 79 (E) 1620 clear none 23:00 45 40 13 80 (E) 1602 clear humid 00:00 45 39 11 82 (E) 1744 clear none 01:00 46 36 7 92 (E) 1549 clear none 02:00 52 33 0 274 (W) 1228 clear none 03:00 50 34 2 249 (WSW) 1189 clear none 04:00 50 33 1 26 (NNE) 1166 clear none 05:00 50 33 5 88 (E) 1283 mstly clr none 06:00 50 34 1 228 (SW) 1152 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
