Jack was getting a bunch of error emails from the optical sky camera even though the camera seemed to be functional, he ended up restarting the computer and it solved the problem. We didn't open during A-half due to overcast skies and on-and-off nearby radar from the hurricane. We got on sky a little after handover when it finally cleared up a bit. We had good seeing and the clouds weren't too bad for the class for the rest of the night! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:38 kosmos 219( 1166) 9 60 12.4 12.7 13.2 12.7 12.5 -- 1.25 04:06 ecamera 369( 156) 306 73 10.5 10.5 11.2 10.3 10.4 ND3 0.78 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 24 11 248 (WSW) 1416 cloudy none 17:00 62 24 8 247 (WSW) 1343 cloudy none 18:00 58 22 9 215 (SW) 1266 cloudy none 19:00 56 26 9 190 (S) 1833 cloudy none 20:00 56 21 13 191 (S) 1302 cloudy none 21:00 56 25 9 185 (S) 1566 cloudy none 22:00 57 24 19 186 (S) 1689 mstly cldy none 23:00 56 25 14 193 (SSW) 1377 mstly cldy none 00:00 56 25 14 210 (SSW) 1431 mstly cldy none 01:00 54 25 11 189 (S) 1555 mstly clr none 02:00 53 25 20 217 (SW) 2067 mstly clr none 03:00 53 27 16 216 (SW) 2239 mstly clr none 04:00 51 30 15 198 (SSW) 1940 mstly clr none 05:00 49 32 16 213 (SSW) 1635 mstly clr none 06:00 49 32 9 197 (SSW) 1669 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
