We did about three hours of throughput for fields Feige22, SA95-193, and SA92-282. Russet ran Shack and collimated the secondary. Then we ran a pointing model, which was implemented. Afterwards, I reset the az, alt, na2 rotator and agile rotator axes. I zeroed the rotator (0.075). We had one altitude motion error at 59.4 when attempting to slew down. The winds were pretty high so I'm not sure if it was wind induced or not. There was no collision and an init fixed the issue. There were no other altitude issues for the rest of the night. The seeing was excellent even with the high winds! However, a wall of clouds was headed our way and started to make its appearance around 4:30 at which point I called it a night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:51 arctic 540( 853) 71 61 37.3 5.6 5.0 4.9 3.8 sdss-i 1.04 18:10 arctic 484( 780) 55 42 37.3 4.9 4.6 4.3 3.3 sdss-i 1.35 19:02 arctic 438( 665) 40 50 37.3 3.6 3.9 3.2 3.0 sdss-i 1.04 20:07 arctic 489( 631) 15 57 37.3 1.9 3.5 2.9 2.9 sdss-i 1.04 20:32 arctic 489( 627) 4 58 37.3 1.8 3.4 2.8 3.0 sdss-i 0.67 21:09 shack 450( 1133) 55 60 37.3 1.8 3.3 2.8 2.9 -- 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 13 259 (W) 329 mstly clr none 17:00 12 255 (WSW) 391 mstly clr none 18:00 13 246 (WSW) 474 mstly clr none 19:00 13 260 (W) 682 mstly clr none 20:00 15 263 (W) 535 mstly clr none 21:00 14 272 (W) 364 mstly clr none 22:00 24 292 (WNW) 349 clear none 23:00 24 275 (W) 408 mstly clr none 00:00 22 277 (W) 324 mstly clr none 01:00 23 287 (WNW) 378 mstly clr none 02:00 22 289 (WNW) 397 mstly clr none 03:00 24 278 (W) 495 clear none 04:00 20 272 (W) 482 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
