It was a small band but I could see the rain nearly hitting the ground and it delayed us opening by a little over half an hour. After that, the clouds were light until they disappeared entirely! Seeing was good all night. As the laser is down, APO1 ceded their time to NM08. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:07 AGILE 380(-1600) -6 32 37.3 3.8 3.5 3.5 2.2 BG40 1.62 19:50 khigh 313( 354) -88 67 37.3 0.9 1.7 1.0 0.9 -- 1.25 00:17 ecamera 408( -588) -37 37 37.3 0.8 1.9 0.9 1.8 ND3 1.00 03:43 ecamera 394( -585) -31 32 37.3 1.0 2.4 1.4 1.9 ND3 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 6 204 (SSW) 278 ptly cldy none 17:00 2 242 (WSW) 314 ptly cldy none 18:00 11 301 (WNW) 243 mstly clr none 19:00 10 320 (NW) 341 clear none 20:00 10 336 (NNW) 328 clear none 21:00 6 350 (N) 292 clear none 22:00 11 311 (NW) 315 clear none 23:00 9 319 (NW) 309 clear none 00:00 6 314 (NW) 243 clear none 01:00 6 268 (W) 311 clear none 02:00 7 262 (W) 370 clear none 03:00 5 257 (WSW) 326 clear none 04:00 4 252 (WSW) 401 clear none 05:00 3 217 (SW) 349 clear none 06:00 3 218 (SW) 388 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
