We had a 15mph wind limit again tonight and had to stay closed for almost all of A-half, wind gust speeds finally dropped around 23:40 and CU06 handed over the remaining time in A-half. There were a few thin clouds at times but it was mostly clear. Temperatures ranged from -6C in the afternoon to -11C by the end of the night and humidity rose from about 50% to almost 70% as temperatures fell. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:15 kosmos 428( -17) -108 78 10.0 -9.3 -9.1 -9.3 -9.8 -- 1.24 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 11 329 (NNW) 325 clear none 17:00 12 324 (NW) 289 clear none 18:00 17 351 (N) 209 clear none 19:00 16 30 (NNE) 220 clear none 20:00 14 36 (NE) 238 clear none 21:00 12 24 (NNE) 200 clear none 22:00 20 59 (ENE) 227 mstly clr none 23:00 12 74 (ENE) 236 clear none 00:00 8 89 (E) 238 mstly clr none 01:00 9 86 (E) 205 mstly clr none 02:00 7 93 (E) 216 clear none 03:00 5 109 (ESE) 170 clear none 04:00 7 139 (SE) 161 clear none 05:00 11 133 (SE) 162 clear none 06:00 6 153 (SSE) 174 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
