Reset mirrors at checkout. The stripchart mac froze around 21:00 and had to be restarted. It was completely overcast at sunset but cleared up after a few hours. However, even if not for the snow and ice on the dome, we would have been closed due to humidity most of the night. Temperatures of about -8C to -10C with 90-100% humidity for most of the night, dropping down to around 75% after 04:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 13 292 (WNW) cloudy humid 17:00 15 261 (W) cloudy humid 18:00 11 267 (W) mstly cldy humid 19:00 7 281 (W) mstly clr humid 20:00 7 317 (NW) mstly clr humid 21:00 9 331 (NNW) clear humid 22:00 9 358 (N) clear humid 23:00 14 355 (N) clear humid 00:00 26 30 (NNE) clear humid 01:00 11 31 (NNE) clear humid 02:00 15 45 (NE) clear humid 03:00 18 19 (NNE) clear humid 04:00 24 324 (NW) clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
