Winds were fairly high for all of A-half and the start of B-half. Closed at 23:14 due to wind gusts which got up to almost 50mph, opened back up at 01:00 when the wind speeds came back down. Had to do gmech parameters to get the NA2 guider filters to show up. CU03 finished observations at the start of twilight. Temperatures were a few degrees above and below 0C with humidity around 30% at the start of the night down to 5-10% near the end of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:49 ecamera 375( -609) 122 79 10.0 1.6 2.6 2.4 0.9 ND1 1.54 22:21 kosmos 317( 272) -3 52 10.0 -1.1 -0.9 -1.8 -1.9 -- 2.15 01:07 arctic 405( 405) -4 53 10.0 -1.2 -1.3 -1.6 -1.2 Semrock 1.75 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 18 294 (WNW) 766 mstly clr none 17:00 8 289 (WNW) 740 mstly clr none 18:00 15 322 (NW) 633 mstly clr none 19:00 12 4 (N) 406 mstly clr none 20:00 9 23 (NNE) 258 mstly clr none 21:00 18 352 (N) 169 mstly clr none 22:00 27 12 (NNE) 194 ptly cldy none 23:00 30 23 (NNE) 138 ptly cldy none 00:00 27 29 (NNE) 121 ptly cldy none 01:00 17 7 (N) 69 mstly cldy none 02:00 16 27 (NNE) 36 mstly cldy none 03:00 20 14 (NNE) 29 ptly cldy none 04:00 12 26 (NNE) 18 ptly cldy none 05:00 14 27 (NNE) 26 mstly clr none 06:00 4 97 (E) 27 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
