Lots of engineering for the visiting instrument ensued. I also had time to check collimation the the Shack-Hartmann, which required no change, so that was the top on-sky engineering task done, and probably it also means a pointing model is not needed either. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:40 shack 350( 1505) 58 61 12.2 11.8 12.5 11.8 12.1 - 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 31 6 187 (S) 1815 cloudy none 17:00 68 31 11 213 (SSW) 1709 cloudy none 18:00 62 31 14 228 (SW) 1515 cloudy none 19:00 59 31 9 227 (SW) 1874 mstly cldy none 20:00 57 30 7 196 (SSW) 1936 mstly cldy none 21:00 58 31 8 207 (SSW) 1249 mstly cldy none 22:00 57 31 6 197 (SSW) 1630 ptly cldy none 23:00 56 30 8 205 (SSW) 1251 ptly cldy none 00:00 56 30 5 192 (SSW) 1201 ptly cldy none 01:00 55 30 5 188 (S) 1036 ptly cldy none 02:00 54 30 7 220 (SW) 2087 mstly clr none 03:00 55 30 1 201 (SSW) 1739 mstly clr none 04:00 56 32 5 296 (WNW) 1831 mstly clr none 05:00 55 31 2 345 (NNW) 1825 ptly cldy none 06:00 56 32 7 359 (N) 1434 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
