There were no other issues with it for the rest of the night. We had some light clouds at sunset that cleared up nicely and gave us a clear night. The seeing fluctuated to poor, to excellent, to poor, to good. The class finished up their second night of observing and did an excellent job! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:06 klow 332( 972) -2 28 12.7 13.1 13.7 12.8 12.6 -- 2.30 21:16 klow 490( 1051) 46 81 12.2 12.1 12.9 12.0 12.1 -- 1.00 21:51 ecamera 394( -108) 192 73 11.8 11.8 12.6 11.7 11.7 -- 0.95 23:38 ecamera 374( -151) 230 63 11.6 11.2 11.9 11.1 11.2 -- 0.89 00:19 ecamera 353( -181) 233 60 11.3 10.9 11.7 10.8 11.0 -- 2.38 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 32 1 193 (SSW) 706 mstly clr none 17:00 62 31 15 35 (NE) 736 mstly clr none 18:00 61 32 14 52 (NE) 809 clear none 19:00 57 32 15 65 (ENE) 830 clear none 20:00 55 30 16 49 (NE) 832 clear none 21:00 54 31 16 75 (ENE) 703 clear humid 22:00 53 31 17 74 (ENE) 769 clear humid 23:00 53 31 16 82 (E) 834 clear humid 00:00 53 31 12 79 (E) 829 clear humid 01:00 52 30 8 80 (E) 821 clear humid 02:00 53 31 17 76 (ENE) 750 clear none 03:00 54 30 15 75 (ENE) 503 clear none 04:00 53 29 12 80 (E) 464 clear none 05:00 53 28 5 92 (E) 495 clear none 06:00 55 23 0 360 (N) 403 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
