Clouds formed right over us at 00:20, and we closed at 00:35 because they were both low and very thick. Opened back up at 02:00 when we could see stars again. Closed at 05:09 due to low clouds and high humidity. Conditions did not improve so we did not reopen. HSAR focused at 750 at start of night. 403 seemed fine at the end of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:06 ecamera 403( -60) -23 38 12.1 12.1 12.6 11.9 12.1 ND3 0.77 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 45 10 262 (W) 344 mstly clr none 17:00 60 47 8 261 (W) 273 mstly clr none 18:00 59 46 10 192 (SSW) 328 mstly clr none 19:00 55 48 9 216 (SW) 406 clear none 20:00 54 47 5 187 (S) 536 clear none 21:00 54 47 10 213 (SSW) 656 clear none 22:00 54 47 9 215 (SW) 881 clear none 23:00 54 47 10 193 (SSW) 1028 clear none 00:00 53 46 11 208 (SSW) 972 mstly cldy none 01:00 54 46 12 212 (SSW) 679 mstly cldy none 02:00 53 46 9 226 (SW) 544 ptly cldy none 03:00 53 46 8 219 (SW) 519 ptly cldy humid 04:00 52 46 10 228 (SW) mstly cldy humid 05:00 52 47 9 220 (SW) mstly cldy humid 06:00 51 48 8 207 (SSW) ptly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
