Another mostly clear night of engineering!
Tasks accomplished:
- Some telescope slew tests for diagnosing repeated motion errors
- DIS contamination check + observations of a standard star
- Waited for clouds to clear, but Russet used this time for tracking setup so I didn’t mark this time as unused
- Satellite tracking tests with ARCTIC
- Determined new kcamera focus values
- Instrument blocks for all three KOSMOS slitviewer instrument settings
- KOSMOS Setup wiki page updated
Motion error at 67.8 alt slewing down from 80 in the NE during test slews. We induced a few more, but after Russet adjusted a value and then put it back to what it was we didn’t see any for the rest of the night. Unclear why!
WeatherTap went out in the middle of the night but came back before sunrise.
