The sky stayed mostly clear with great seeing until we attempted to use the eyepiece on Saturn and then...clouds. We ended up being cloudy the rest of the night and, since we were looking at faint objects that needed long integrations, we gave up at 4:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:44 khigh 266( 1287) 269 64 16.2 17.5 17.4 17.1 16.9 -- 1.11 00:53 ecamera 315( 147) -12 35 14.7 14.2 14.7 13.9 14.4 ND3 0.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 50 15 232 (SW) 985 cloudy rain 17:00 71 47 17 255 (WSW) 848 cloudy rain 18:00 61 49 21 151 (SSE) 1259 mstly cldy lt rain 19:00 61 48 10 181 (S) 1463 ptly cldy none 20:00 61 47 9 181 (S) 1334 mstly clr none 21:00 61 46 11 181 (S) 1364 clear none 22:00 60 47 9 164 (SSE) 1393 clear none 23:00 58 48 8 172 (S) 1197 clear none 00:00 57 49 7 184 (S) 1429 clear none 01:00 60 48 5 189 (S) 1316 clear none 02:00 58 47 4 188 (S) 1129 mstly cldy none 03:00 58 48 6 92 (E) 1121 cloudy none 04:00 59 44 0 189 (S) 922 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
