The wind shifted around 02:00. The sky started clearing up but dust counts went up. Another shift around 04:30 brought the dust counts down and we were able to open for the last hour or so and observe into twilight (yay infrared!) When toggling the press fans on from TUI I got a "failed to get enclosure status" error, and I had to click the checkbox again for it to work. NICFPS and M2 both behaved well! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:49 NICFPS 294( 1764) 189 61 17.6 17.5 20.5 17.2 17.6 H2-2.12 0.64 05:17 NICFPS 127( 1584) 195 59 17.4 17.2 19.2 16.6 17.2 H2-2.13 1.06 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 46 13 214 (SW) 2371 cloudy none 17:00 74 46 7 204 (SSW) 2588 cloudy none 18:00 77 46 13 212 (SSW) 2612 cloudy none 19:00 63 50 16 58 (ENE) 5005 cloudy rain 20:00 59 48 14 85 (E) 2803 mstly cldy none 21:00 65 43 7 89 (E) 1684 mstly cldy none 22:00 68 38 8 88 (E) 719 mstly cldy none 23:00 69 39 1 29 (NNE) 721 ptly cldy none 00:00 65 45 2 341 (NNW) 2207 mstly cldy lt rain 01:00 64 44 9 125 (SE) 1741 mstly cldy none 02:00 63 48 22 139 (SE) 3531 mstly cldy dust 03:00 61 50 14 125 (SE) 4639 mstly clr dust 04:00 61 50 7 132 (SE) 4958 mstly clr dust 05:00 64 45 7 218 (SW) 2837 mstly clr none 06:00 62 46 7 185 (S) 2847 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
