I opened PR 2095 for it. While the dust was high in the afternoon, it dropped right before sunset, enough that we could get twilight flats. Unfortunately, then the clouds moved in, and then the dust went back up- so we closed up at 21:20. Between fluctuating dust levels, clouds, and rain on the radar nearby during B-half, we didn't open the rest of the night. When it started raining at 04:30, we called it a night. The secondary reset itself at 22:27; the telescope was not in use at the time.It did not reset itself again during the night. I kept the telescope parked at 83 degrees to avoid dripping on the M2 baffle. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:12 arctic 426( 1767) 126 44 22.0 22.9 23.2 22.5 22.9 4170 1.54 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 79 41 10 255 (WSW) 6134 mstly cldy dust 17:00 75 44 6 226 (SW) 5672 mstly cldy dust 18:00 79 41 5 205 (SSW) 5711 mstly cldy dust 19:00 74 39 1 183 (S) 5623 mstly cldy dust 20:00 72 42 4 102 (ESE) 3826 mstly cldy none 21:00 71 41 6 106 (ESE) 3934 mstly cldy dust 22:00 72 38 7 179 (S) 5173 mstly cldy dust 23:00 72 38 11 147 (SSE) 4622 ptly cldy dust 00:00 71 38 12 149 (SSE) 4637 ptly cldy dust 01:00 68 36 7 143 (SE) 3923 mstly cldy none 02:00 69 37 8 184 (S) 3899 cloudy none 03:00 69 36 8 176 (S) 4091 cloudy none 04:00 68 33 17 133 (SE) 3644 cloudy rain 05:00 65 43 9 96 (E) 3802 cloudy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
