What was a problem was the dust. It kept creeping up until we had to close near 11pm. The dust remained high and we were not able to open. I left the secondary mirror controller off except to focus. I restarted it when I finished for the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:21 kosmos 460( 1503) 225 42 17.3 17.5 18.3 17.1 17.3 -- 1.94 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 72 37 8 85 (E) 962 clear none 17:00 74 37 14 70 (ENE) 1016 clear none 18:00 71 36 18 63 (ENE) 1115 clear none 19:00 69 37 11 85 (E) 1144 clear none 20:00 66 40 17 86 (E) 1841 mstly clr none 21:00 64 42 16 86 (E) 2701 mstly clr dust 22:00 63 42 18 73 (ENE) 3580 mstly clr dust 23:00 63 41 14 71 (ENE) 3987 mstly clr dust 00:00 62 41 12 70 (ENE) 4670 clear dust 01:00 62 41 5 199 (SSW) 5800 clear dust 02:00 60 42 9 71 (ENE) 7359 clear dust 03:00 62 41 0 177 (S) 5582 clear dust 04:00 63 39 12 90 (E) 4334 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
