When we attempted to move to Shack to test collimation, the galil appeared to spontaneously restart. I tried to document this as much as I could in the engineering email. Once we were able to get the homing process done without typos, the mirror was homed without further issues. We were not able to collimate as the cals stage for the Shack appears to be stuck in the light path. Russet sent a PR. I ran a 100 pt pointing model but did not implement the results. The run did not finish until near dawn and I simply wasn't able to clearly identify the outlier starts. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:40 arctic 472( 1561) 15 66 17.4 17.9 18.5 17.6 17.8 sdss-i 1.29 22:21 arctic 458( 1527) 44 48 17.1 17.2 17.9 17.0 17.2 sdss-i 1.34 23:55 arctic 435( 1449) 8 57 16.2 16.2 16.9 16.2 16.2 sdss-i 1.38 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 46 7 224 (SW) 1470 mstly cldy none 17:00 71 42 1 212 (SSW) 1429 ptly cldy none 18:00 72 43 2 62 (ENE) 1476 ptly cldy none 19:00 68 42 9 85 (E) 1704 mstly clr none 20:00 66 41 15 80 (E) 1691 mstly clr none 21:00 65 40 16 87 (E) 1567 ptly cldy none 22:00 63 42 14 86 (E) 1889 ptly cldy none 23:00 62 42 17 110 (ESE) 1825 mstly clr none 00:00 61 44 11 108 (ESE) 2046 mstly clr none 01:00 63 40 13 82 (E) 1753 clear none 02:00 65 39 11 34 (NE) 1605 clear none 03:00 63 40 7 352 (N) 1553 clear none 04:00 61 41 6 292 (WNW) 1869 clear none 05:00 61 41 4 7 (N) 1809 mstly clr none 06:00 58 41 3 233 (SW) 1424 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
