I saw radar returns just to our east and potentially heading this way. I opened a few minutes later when the threat subsided. Motion error on first slew with alt. A second axis init fixed it. The clamp failed to close at BC1 from NA2, we moved back to TR2 and then to BC1 and that moved it enough to get the clamp to close properly. Russet said to add this to the engineering task list for this week. Russet wasn't having a lot of success with the clouds and full moon, she gave up a couple mins early. Pesky clouds at the start of the 3rd program. Sky cleared up with just a few lingering clouds after 02:30. No problems, I parked at 104,70. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:54 tcamera 442( 1656) 86 73 16.6 17.4 17.7 17.4 17.0 Ks 1.20 00:17 APOLLO 400( 2057) 40 61 15.6 15.5 16.0 15.5 15.6 -- 1.20 01:27 arctic 409( 1356) -176 49 15.0 14.6 15.2 14.6 14.7 Semrock 1.67 01:29 NA2gdr 499(34499) -176 49 15.3 14.6 15.2 14.6 14.7 clear 1.68 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 45 1 239 (WSW) 1557 mstly cldy none 17:00 62 45 7 10 (N) 1485 ptly cldy none 18:00 65 46 2 346 (NNW) 1433 ptly cldy none 19:00 66 44 8 83 (E) 1178 ptly cldy none 20:00 63 45 11 84 (E) 1125 ptly cldy none 21:00 61 45 16 82 (E) 1251 mstly clr none 22:00 62 42 16 76 (ENE) 1129 mstly clr none 23:00 61 43 14 87 (E) 1129 ptly cldy none 00:00 60 42 15 87 (E) 1514 ptly cldy none 01:00 58 45 20 83 (E) 1602 ptly cldy none 02:00 58 44 19 82 (E) 2000 mstly clr none 03:00 57 44 20 78 (ENE) 1575 mstly clr none 04:00 55 45 24 71 (ENE) 1519 mstly clr none 05:00 54 47 17 76 (ENE) 1355 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
