Restarting the nubs didn't work. I eventually had to go kill the ecamera.py process but I had IMMENSE trouble at this point. Even though I'd killed and restarted the process, I was getting errors of "ecamera f text="could not read new image file: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/export/images/forTron/guider/gimg9235.fits'" In the end, the problem was that there were two ecamera.py scripts running and I killed the most recent one. Once we killed the old one, things were good. I updated the wiki to reflect the issue. Next, we had an inconveniently timed calibration of the outside sensors. What was weird was the Optidew reported a spike in dust of 5500, so I immediately closed. But 10 min later it was gone and back to 1500. I'm not sure if it was real but it was timed with the sensor recalibration. I closed for 13 min. After that, it was thunderstorm outflows making the wind shift from west to east to west. Humidity and dust were flapping with it but not enough to make us close. It did, however, destroy the seeing. The moths are back. And I could smell smoke when I closed, likely from the Gila. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:43 dcamera 516( 1418) 236 66 17.6 18.6 18.4 18.3 18.1 -- 1.00 21:58 dcamera 518( 1370) 312 46 17.6 17.3 17.8 17.2 17.3 -- 1.08 01:25 ecamera 361( 195) 106 80 12.7 14.7 15.5 14.4 14.3 Clear 2.30 03:50 ecamera 334( 122) 140 41 14.9 13.3 14.0 13.0 13.4 Clear 1.35 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 39 20 208 (SSW) 1423 ptly cldy none 17:00 71 30 14 228 (SW) 1038 ptly cldy none 18:00 70 27 19 208 (SSW) 1868 ptly cldy none 19:00 67 25 18 266 (W) 1775 mstly clr none 20:00 64 18 14 263 (W) 1560 clear none 21:00 64 18 15 237 (WSW) 1465 clear none 22:00 63 18 11 263 (W) 1479 clear none 23:00 62 17 9 260 (W) 1387 clear none 00:00 63 16 8 262 (W) 1606 mstly clr none 01:00 60 21 8 142 (SE) 2339 mstly clr none 02:00 57 31 1 200 (SSW) 2057 mstly clr none 03:00 60 24 7 260 (W) 1961 mstly clr none 04:00 59 26 6 259 (W) 2159 ptly cldy none 05:00 57 28 3 202 (SSW) 2265 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
