Until the dust kicked up from out of no where! We were closed for a couple hours but were able to reopen and stay open the rest of the night. Seeing was good but the dust counter went out around 2am. I informed the day crew. Pollen still not present, jsut dust. And the mirror covers opened great! APO01 ceded their time to OU05 and they were very grateful! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:56 tcamera 330( 1742) 43 75 20.1 21.7 22.0 21.2 20.8 -- 0.97 22:32 tcamera 197( 1510) -50 74 17.9 19.5 20.2 19.3 18.8 -- 1.19 01:16 tcamera 480( 1708) 101 23 17.1 16.9 17.7 16.8 16.9 -- 1.34 04:33 tcamera 468( 1567) 142 47 15.0 14.7 15.4 14.6 14.7 -- 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 31 21 283 (WNW) 1663 ptly cldy none 17:00 77 30 13 207 (SSW) 1591 ptly cldy none 18:00 73 28 13 244 (WSW) 1538 ptly cldy none 19:00 74 25 18 238 (WSW) 1155 ptly cldy none 20:00 70 28 12 259 (W) 1622 mstly clr none 21:00 67 32 27 288 (WNW) 5958 mstly clr dust 22:00 65 33 12 265 (W) 3362 mstly clr none 23:00 64 32 8 262 (W) 2047 mstly clr none 00:00 64 32 11 287 (WNW) 1935 mstly clr none 01:00 64 32 14 277 (W) 1610 mstly clr none 02:00 63 32 12 263 (W) ptly cldy none 03:00 61 32 12 270 (W) ptly cldy none 04:00 59 32 21 273 (W) ptly cldy none 05:00 59 31 11 266 (W) mstly clr none 06:00 59 31 16 281 (W) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
