Everywhere. We were totally surrounded at sunset though the rain sensor never went off. The clouds lasted much longer than I thought they would and we weren't able to open until B half. However, when we did open, the seeing was amazing!! 0.72", which did slip when the wind shifted to the north. The clouds stayed light for the rest of the night. I did encounter the BC1 bottom mirror petal having difficulty closing during afternoon check out and when I went to close for the night. I added it to the PR trail and Ben is looking into it. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:31 ecamera 274( 348) 104 70 19.4 19.8 20.1 19.6 19.4 ND2 0.72 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 77 27 7 221 (SW) 1242 mstly cldy none 17:00 75 29 10 266 (W) 1396 mstly cldy none 18:00 73 29 8 261 (W) 1756 mstly cldy none 19:00 72 31 6 241 (WSW) 2240 mstly cldy none 20:00 70 30 5 345 (NNW) 1528 mstly cldy none 21:00 70 28 8 281 (W) 1487 mstly cldy none 22:00 70 30 11 302 (WNW) 1441 mstly cldy none 23:00 69 29 7 258 (WSW) 1509 mstly cldy none 00:00 69 29 8 258 (WSW) 1664 ptly cldy none 01:00 68 30 8 273 (W) 1684 mstly clr none 02:00 66 30 7 262 (W) 5424 mstly clr none 03:00 65 30 6 276 (W) 2856 mstly clr none 04:00 64 30 1 252 (WSW) 2451 mstly clr none 05:00 66 29 9 2 (N) 1742 mstly clr none 06:00 65 29 10 23 (NNE) 1931 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
