We stayed closed for most of A-half mostly due to radar but opened for the last few minutes when it finally cleared up. NM07 valiantly observed a few bright stars through relatively thick clouds very quickly. I only did a very rough focus with ecam to get on sky as quickly as possible. The clouds mostly cleared up over B-half, and the rest of the night went smoothly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:29 arctic 166( 1389) 89 47 20.5 20.6 22.7 20.2 20.1 SDSS_r 1.42 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 80 26 22 233 (SW) 2231 clear none 17:00 82 27 11 265 (W) 1969 clear none 18:00 80 25 13 258 (WSW) 1871 clear none 19:00 78 30 12 272 (W) 2190 clear none 20:00 73 29 8 291 (WNW) 2229 ptly cldy none 21:00 73 29 7 263 (W) 2388 mstly cldy none 22:00 69 32 11 20 (NNE) 2235 mstly cldy none 23:00 69 32 12 4 (N) 2397 mstly cldy none 00:00 69 32 10 14 (NNE) 1995 mstly cldy none 01:00 68 31 10 6 (N) 1583 ptly cldy none 02:00 68 31 1 28 (NNE) 1644 ptly cldy none 03:00 69 31 6 275 (W) 2136 mstly clr none 04:00 69 31 2 242 (WSW) 1823 mstly clr none 05:00 66 31 2 322 (NW) 2394 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
