And it performed beautifully! We were lucky and the dust and wind died down by sunset and had subarc seeing! However, we did have some annoying alt oscillations that lead to us having to break, re-initialize the drives, and make a test slew. This happened at: Az Alt 24, 79 3, 61 --, 34 -105, 47 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:22 dssi 175( 1568) 64 76 13.4 13.8 14.3 13.4 13.7 692 0.72 01:28 klow 265( 1047) -81 32 12.3 11.9 12.6 12.0 12.0 -- 1.34 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 12 17 259 (W) 2475 clear dust 17:00 62 11 21 246 (WSW) 3075 clear dust 18:00 64 11 24 265 (W) 2461 clear none 19:00 62 10 22 256 (WSW) 2409 clear none 20:00 58 10 18 264 (W) 2041 clear none 21:00 57 8 18 255 (WSW) 2006 clear none 22:00 57 7 14 263 (W) 1968 clear none 23:00 57 8 13 257 (WSW) 2062 clear none 00:00 57 7 16 256 (WSW) 2051 clear none 01:00 54 9 13 266 (W) 2233 clear none 02:00 53 11 12 264 (W) 2170 clear none 03:00 53 12 10 258 (WSW) 2059 clear none 04:00 52 12 16 240 (WSW) 2260 clear none 05:00 51 14 14 260 (W) 2108 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
