We had to close due to a dust spike at 22:30 and we didn't reopen for the rest of the night. Pollen plates: 21:00-22:00: 100/16cm2 = 6.25/cm2/hr. 23:45 - 00:45: 220/4cm2 = 55/cm2/hr. Dust was rising during this time (6k-9k 1.0um counts, 40k 0.3um counts) 02:00 - 03:00: 400/9cm2 = 44.4/cm2/hr. Dust high, 10k-11k 1.0um counts, 50k 0.3um counts. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:45 AGILE 450( -969) 25 49 10.0 11.8 12.1 11.1 11.2 BG40 2.17 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 -4 19 286 (WNW) 4303 mstly clr dust 17:00 59 -6 29 296 (WNW) 5207 mstly clr dust 18:00 56 -4 21 296 (WNW) 2410 mstly clr none 19:00 54 1 10 301 (WNW) 1379 clear none 20:00 52 -1 1 13 (NNE) 1322 clear none 21:00 50 -4 12 331 (NNW) 1963 clear none 22:00 49 -1 11 18 (NNE) 2547 clear dust 23:00 48 3 9 12 (NNE) 5809 clear dust 00:00 47 6 12 10 (N) 6741 clear dust 01:00 46 7 5 341 (NNW) 9715 clear dust 02:00 46 7 13 17 (NNE) 10587 clear dust 03:00 44 9 2 276 (W) 9761 clear dust 04:00 42 13 7 304 (NW) 8104 clear dust 05:00 42 14 13 295 (WNW) 6508 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
