Observing Specialist: C.Gray
We had an arctic binning issue with our A half observer. They tried to change binning while it Quad mode and the instrument reported the error  Text="set full window failed with retVal=4543058" which I couldn't clear. I wasn't able to switch to LL mode or take exposures and I finally just had to issue an arctic init. The UL quad is dropped but I will bring it back in the afternoon tomorrow. OU02's target hit the altitude limit at 00:38 so they donated a few min to UV01 which helped give us time to mount the instrument.
While the first half had poor seeing, the DSSI instrument was blessed with another night of subarcsec seeing! And, boy, can their instrument improve the seeing even more. We had mostly clear skies, with some light clouds rolling in around 4am.
