I opened for a couple of periods when the dust was a bit lower, but it was still pushing the boundaries. High cirrus also made observations a bit more difficult, but the observers were able to get some useful data. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:45 dcamera 215( 773) 235 69 10.0 11.3 13.2 11.1 10.9 - 1.62 01:19 kosmos 369( 980) -25 69 9.1 8.8 9.7 8.8 8.9 - 1.46 03:32 kosmos 332( 938) -73 47 8.8 8.4 9.4 8.5 8.5 - 1.65 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 6 14 240 (WSW) 6857 clear none 17:00 59 5 9 247 (WSW) 5773 clear none 18:00 57 2 2 209 (SSW) 6078 clear none 19:00 56 5 14 190 (S) 6495 clear dust 20:00 51 5 13 168 (SSE) 6546 mstly clr dust 21:00 49 7 15 143 (SE) 6621 mstly clr dust 22:00 50 8 17 177 (S) 6947 mstly clr none 23:00 50 7 14 176 (S) 6148 mstly clr none 00:00 49 10 18 144 (SE) 5950 mstly clr none 01:00 49 9 19 147 (SSE) 5908 mstly clr none 02:00 48 16 19 148 (SSE) 7110 mstly clr dust 03:00 49 18 20 142 (SE) 6719 mstly clr dust 04:00 48 22 19 150 (SSE) 5826 mstly clr none 05:00 48 23 18 157 (SSE) 5417 mstly clr none 06:00 48 23 16 180 (S) 5289 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
