Back on utility at 20:30. By this time 1-micron dust counts > 3000, so I started with fans in reverse mode, but didn't leave them that way for long. Switched back to reverse mode at 00:50, dust stayed elevated for the rest of the night. We did not check focus at the start of JH01 due to time constraints. Nice and clear all night! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GS01 KOSMOS T/H 19:52 20:43 Closed due to loss of power/running on generator. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:56 khigh 401( 1205) 161 79 12.0 13.0 13.6 12.5 12.5 -- 1.38 03:14 ecamera 375( -106) 105 45 7.5 7.6 8.5 7.5 7.5 ND1 1.43 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 10 12 219 (SW) 2395 clear none 17:00 58 11 27 265 (W) 2624 clear none 18:00 58 11 20 271 (W) 2486 clear none 19:00 57 9 32 259 (W) 2791 clear none 20:00 54 9 22 257 (WSW) 2699 clear none 21:00 53 8 21 262 (W) 2840 clear none 22:00 52 6 16 266 (W) 2612 clear none 23:00 52 6 15 260 (W) 2542 clear none 00:00 51 6 17 259 (W) 2317 clear none 01:00 50 10 19 252 (WSW) 3162 clear none 02:00 48 10 22 261 (W) 3555 clear none 03:00 46 11 15 262 (W) 3477 clear none 04:00 46 9 15 276 (W) 3662 clear none 05:00 44 8 21 270 (W) 3985 clear none 06:00 43 10 15 279 (W) 4015 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
