I ran the fans in reverse mode while we were open due to 1-micron dust counts > 3000 counts. UW03 took KOSMOS cals into the start of twilight and then we did UW10 AGILE twilight flats since the forecast looked worse for B-half, as both programs had the same observer. We closed at 23:10 due to a thunderstorm approaching from southwest. The radar was no longer dangerous around 02:30 so I opened for a few minutes but due to clouds + rising humidity closed up again almost immediately. UW10 gave up at 04:00 because especially with the clouds they did not have enough time for their science. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:30 kosmos 628( 1380) 167 41 8.8 11.4 10.8 10.7 11.0 -- 1.63 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 32 9 213 (SSW) 4137 mstly clr none 17:00 58 31 12 203 (SSW) 3180 mstly clr none 18:00 56 31 8 196 (SSW) 3266 mstly clr none 19:00 53 31 3 219 (SW) 3354 mstly clr none 20:00 48 32 1 174 (S) 3396 mstly clr none 21:00 49 32 9 183 (S) 2969 mstly clr none 22:00 47 32 9 180 (S) 2490 mstly clr none 23:00 49 32 13 183 (S) 2136 mstly clr none 00:00 46 32 14 158 (SSE) 2136 ptly cldy none 01:00 48 31 13 181 (S) 1817 ptly cldy none 02:00 49 31 7 193 (SSW) 1971 mstly cldy none 03:00 48 31 11 179 (S) 2076 mstly cldy humid 04:00 48 31 15 182 (S) mstly cldy humid 05:00 48 31 16 183 (S) 1366 ptly cldy humid 06:00 47 30 14 186 (S) ptly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
