Restarted Echelle ICC to fix. My 2nd observer accidently started a very long exposure with KOSMOS. I tried to abort the exposure but that failed in the end. After reseting KOSMOS ICC (not a full torrent restart) I was able to take two images but after I set the heater dead band my user was not. I tried and I also was not able to take an exposure. 022-04-22 06:14:00 CmdStarted: client-91 7 kosmos expose object time=1.0 basename=/export/images/forTron/kosmos/20220422T061400Z01.fits comment="" 2022-04-22 06:14:00 JH01.Zafar.kosmosExpose 7 kosmos f text="Torrent Error: ERROR: ppxSetAVP: Failed. \\\\ Set access Function Failed. - setting intTime - DHE cmd echo mismatch; word 0: sent-0x80040000, rcvd-0x000d7c" A restart of the KOSMOS torrent server was now in order to now fix the problem. No problems after or for the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:22 kosmos 268( 1180) 38 51 13.3 15.0 15.1 14.8 14.3 -- 1.27 05:15 APOLLO 350( 1764) 11 30 10.4 9.8 10.4 9.8 10.0 -- 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 15 23 225 (SW) 1710 clear none 17:00 63 14 18 238 (WSW) 1648 clear none 18:00 62 15 16 252 (WSW) 1687 clear none 19:00 60 14 19 215 (SW) clear none 20:00 56 14 21 219 (SW) clear none 21:00 54 15 16 205 (SSW) clear none 22:00 54 14 16 202 (SSW) clear none 23:00 56 14 17 207 (SSW) clear none 00:00 55 14 19 202 (SSW) clear none 01:00 55 14 13 214 (SW) clear none 02:00 54 14 14 224 (SW) clear none 03:00 53 14 11 260 (W) clear none 04:00 52 14 13 245 (WSW) clear none 05:00 52 14 15 252 (WSW) clear none 06:00 50 15 15 251 (WSW) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
