Seeing was mostly okay except when the wind was changing directions. Telescope and KOSMOS behaved well, including first observations with the 0.73" center slit. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:19 kosmos 821( 1663) -1 52 12.9 13.5 12.3 13.5 13.3 - 1.24 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 1 16 303 (WNW) 4720 clear none 17:00 58 -2 6 328 (NNW) 4915 clear none 18:00 57 -1 9 340 (NNW) 5582 clear none 19:00 57 -1 6 352 (N) 5612 clear none 20:00 54 -1 13 49 (NE) 5745 clear none 21:00 55 -2 12 73 (ENE) 5936 clear none 22:00 55 -8 12 55 (NE) 5311 clear none 23:00 55 -5 9 53 (NE) 5405 clear none 00:00 56 -1 1 264 (W) 5178 clear none 01:00 54 -4 2 118 (ESE) 5081 clear none 02:00 54 -2 1 75 (ENE) 5261 clear none 03:00 54 -4 1 173 (S) 5297 clear none 04:00 53 -5 4 186 (S) 5328 clear none 05:00 54 -6 7 135 (SE) 5142 clear none 06:00 54 -6 6 121 (ESE) 4689 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
