Wind and gusts remained too high to open for all of A-half, often over 40mph, with elevated dust counts for a while. Gust speeds finally came down under 35mph around 01:00. At switchover we had error: ecam not connected. hub startNubs ecam+ecamera & ecam init brought it back. Wind speeds were marginal for most of B-half but UW13 had targets facing out of the wind and the telescope telemetry and guider images didn't seem highly affected. When the dust counts rose above 3000 counts I put the fans into the reverse configuration and closed the louvers; with this and being pointed out of the wind it kept the inside dust counts a few hundred counts lower than the outside dust counts. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:14 ecamera 633( 174) 165 62 6.9 8.3 9.0 8.1 7.9 ND2 1.36 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 21 26 257 (WSW) 2310 clear none 17:00 54 19 25 264 (W) 2169 clear none 18:00 54 20 34 259 (W) 2935 clear none 19:00 52 23 32 254 (WSW) 4323 clear dust 20:00 50 22 32 251 (WSW) 4849 clear dust 21:00 50 24 37 255 (WSW) 3920 clear dust 22:00 49 22 34 255 (WSW) 2753 clear none 23:00 47 21 27 253 (WSW) 2352 clear none 00:00 47 21 28 244 (WSW) 2402 clear none 01:00 45 22 21 248 (WSW) 2665 clear none 02:00 43 23 20 247 (WSW) 2763 clear none 03:00 42 24 28 267 (W) 2937 clear none 04:00 41 23 29 256 (WSW) 2902 clear none 05:00 40 22 34 240 (WSW) 3020 clear none 06:00 38 24 22 240 (WSW) 3973 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
