I restarted the nubs and this fixed the issue. During checkout DIS seemed to take a long time to finish its readout. The calibration exposure also took a long time to finish the readout (like a minute after the timer went to zero). Shane is looking into the problem. NICFPS is offline tonight for diagnosis of the filter wheel/temp issue from last night. Kosmos was left on since my 2nd half observer needed to do dome cals in the morning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:02 kosmos 551( 706) -3 57 -2.7 -1.0 -2.2 -1.6 -2.4 -- 1.06 20:52 klow 223( 339) 261 52 -2.5 -1.9 -2.4 -3.1 -2.8 -- 1.03 23:24 kimage 373( 413) 311 70 -3.3 -3.3 -2.7 -3.1 -3.1 -- 0.90 00:21 kosmos 550( 576) 217 77 -2.9 -3.6 -2.9 -3.6 -3.4 -- 1.14 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 29 -11 11 24 (NNE) 374 clear none 17:00 30 -12 9 27 (NNE) 392 clear none 18:00 30 -17 8 1 (N) 252 clear none 19:00 27 -13 19 3 (N) 272 clear none 20:00 28 -10 11 38 (NE) 357 clear none 21:00 28 -10 10 353 (N) 360 clear none 22:00 28 -8 1 307 (NW) 321 clear none 23:00 28 -6 11 5 (N) 341 clear none 00:00 27 -2 9 357 (N) 349 clear none 01:00 26 -4 5 257 (WSW) 341 clear none 02:00 27 0 11 262 (W) 353 clear none 03:00 27 2 12 255 (WSW) 398 clear none 04:00 27 2 12 240 (WSW) 398 clear none 05:00 26 3 9 262 (W) 451 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
