We had high winds towards the middle of the night, peaking at 50 mph. There was a light spot of rain that lasted a few seconds but that was it. There was no real hope of opening tonight and when we reached the usable limit for NM02 I called it. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 8 16 213 (SSW) 1085 cloudy none 17:00 52 5 16 216 (SW) 994 cloudy none 18:00 51 5 21 223 (SW) 1075 cloudy none 19:00 50 5 18 225 (SW) 1021 cloudy none 20:00 49 6 13 244 (WSW) 1309 cloudy none 21:00 48 7 22 238 (WSW) 1347 cloudy dust 22:00 47 9 17 269 (W) 2439 cloudy none 23:00 45 14 24 253 (WSW) 2085 cloudy lt rain 00:00 44 23 31 229 (SW) 1281 cloudy none 01:00 44 23 30 225 (SW) 923 cloudy none 02:00 43 21 24 256 (WSW) 1029 cloudy none 03:00 42 21 19 261 (W) 973 cloudy none 04:00 42 20 21 255 (WSW) 1038 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
