A little after 23:00 the gusts picked up and and later wind speed conditions were marginal. UW07 had targets directly opposite the wind and we were able to stay open. After 05:30 I closed the louvers & the door on the intermediate level, turned the IntEx fans off and the Press fans on as 1-micron dust counts went over 3000. They never got much higher than 3500 counts. UW07 finished a little after twilight. Happy vernal equinox! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:51 tcamera 425( 1089) -46 54 4.7 5.5 5.8 5.3 5.2 Ks 0.96 20:59 ecamera 392( -221) -61 26 4.6 4.4 5.0 4.2 4.4 ND5 0.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 3 13 265 (W) 1933 mstly cldy none 17:00 45 2 13 232 (SW) 2024 mstly cldy none 18:00 45 1 6 240 (WSW) 1917 mstly cldy none 19:00 41 1 10 185 (S) 1942 ptly cldy none 20:00 41 1 11 192 (SSW) 1942 mstly clr none 21:00 40 1 10 184 (S) 2283 mstly clr none 22:00 41 2 19 183 (S) 2419 mstly clr none 23:00 44 5 29 184 (S) 2264 mstly clr none 00:00 43 3 18 188 (S) 1885 mstly clr none 01:00 44 5 13 188 (S) 1882 mstly clr none 02:00 43 8 27 187 (S) 1728 ptly cldy none 03:00 44 7 29 186 (S) 1637 ptly cldy none 04:00 44 7 32 195 (SSW) 1988 ptly cldy none 05:00 43 9 28 188 (S) 2967 ptly cldy none 06:00 42 9 23 195 (SSW) 3009 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
