Seeing was good along with clear skies but dust started picking up around 8pm. But 8:30 we had to shut down. Dust stayed very high all night and we were not able to reopen. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:26 tcamera 502( 982) -34 59 1.1 1.7 2.7 2.1 1.7 Ks 1.28 21:00 arctic 347( 622) 77 56 0.4 0.5 1.3 0.4 0.6 Semrock 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 35 14 17 319 (NW) 880 mstly clr none 17:00 36 11 18 336 (NNW) 770 mstly clr none 18:00 37 9 4 324 (NW) 749 mstly clr none 19:00 35 8 13 321 (NW) 793 mstly clr none 20:00 34 7 6 23 (NNE) 1624 clear none 21:00 33 5 2 334 (NNW) 3448 clear dust 22:00 32 6 13 0 (N) 5261 clear dust 23:00 32 7 7 359 (N) 17193 clear dust 00:00 31 7 13 349 (N) 24888 clear dust 01:00 30 8 11 355 (N) 28350 clear dust 02:00 28 10 11 308 (NW) 29786 clear dust 03:00 29 9 11 6 (N) 26368 clear dust 04:00 28 12 15 11 (N) 18009 mstly clr dust 05:00 29 9 17 1 (N) 18836 mstly clr dust 06:00 28 9 9 54 (NE) 13370 mstly clr dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
