I closed the dome at 00:40 for strong wind, but the observer had been unable to get useful data for about an hour before that. We were able to reopen a few hours later when the wind dropped and clouds thinned out. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:42 AGILE 465(-1310) 8 74 4.0 4.5 4.6 4.1 4.3 BG40 1.16 01:14 AGILE 465(-1459) -38 77 1.7 1.3 2.7 2.1 1.9 BG40 1.47 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 -6 16 250 (WSW) 259 clear none 17:00 41 -1 12 234 (SW) 434 clear none 18:00 41 2 13 265 (W) 522 clear none 19:00 40 3 18 243 (WSW) 553 clear none 20:00 39 0 15 252 (WSW) 595 clear none 21:00 40 0 19 260 (W) 619 mstly clr none 22:00 40 0 21 266 (W) 638 mstly clr none 23:00 39 1 19 262 (W) 588 ptly cldy none 00:00 38 2 24 279 (W) 972 mstly cldy none 01:00 37 3 16 265 (W) 857 mstly cldy none 02:00 36 2 26 289 (WNW) 619 ptly cldy none 03:00 34 2 20 312 (NW) 565 mstly clr none 04:00 32 4 13 317 (NW) 628 clear none 05:00 31 4 13 341 (NNW) 726 clear none 06:00 31 4 12 307 (NW) 802 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
