Shortly before sunset, 1.0-um dust counts were above 35k (over 8k in the enclosure), with wind gusts up to 60 mph. The entire region was visibly covered by dust plumes on satellite imagery. Dust and winds remained high enough that we were closed the entirety of A-half. While the dust decreased after midnight, the winds continued to gust above limits just frequently enough that we couldn't open until after 02:00. Of course, we can't have nice things, and the humidity rose high enough that we had to close around 03:45.
