During first half the wind was never below this limit, but it dropped after midnight. There was also a problem with the dewpoint sensor as indicated in the weather log below (air temperature was not actually 99 degrees, or we would not have been concerned about snow). I had some difficulty mounting KOSMOS which caused a short delay, but after that we were open for the remainder of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:15 ecamera 610( -485) -119 29 37.3 -1.5 -1.7 -2.0 -0.2 ND1 1.42 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 99 32 4 316 (NW) 428 clear none 17:00 99 32 17 4 (N) 395 clear none 18:00 99 32 8 354 (N) 760 clear none 19:00 99 32 11 22 (NNE) 403 clear none 20:00 99 32 19 27 (NNE) 413 clear none 21:00 99 32 24 9 (N) 403 clear none 22:00 99 32 12 30 (NNE) 375 clear none 23:00 99 32 23 14 (NNE) 229 clear none 00:00 99 32 16 45 (NE) 767 clear none 01:00 99 32 8 50 (NE) 238 clear none 02:00 99 32 6 218 (SW) 301 clear none 03:00 99 32 1 127 (SE) 263 clear none 04:00 99 32 2 265 (W) 277 clear none 05:00 99 32 5 196 (SSW) 259 clear none 06:00 99 32 5 186 (S) 306 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
