Seeing improved as the night progressed but CU01 was cursed with clouds during their transit. Only while the planet was in transit, mind you, it was clear during all the baseline data! Sigh. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:53 kosmos 643( 697) 26 49 0.1 0.9 1.1 1.3 0.4 -- 1.47 21:29 kosmos 450( 475) -12 58 1.8 0.5 1.5 1.0 1.7 -- 1.16 23:58 arctic 431( 541) 33 38 2.3 0.9 2.0 1.6 2.0 sdss-g 1.78 02:12 arctic 429( 519) -10 43 1.1 0.6 1.5 1.0 1.4 sdss-i 0.97 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 36 11 9 46 (NE) 152 clear none 17:00 32 12 14 330 (NNW) 197 clear none 18:00 32 15 13 285 (WNW) 1304 clear none 19:00 33 13 11 283 (WNW) 1867 clear none 20:00 34 12 18 298 (WNW) 1399 clear none 21:00 35 12 17 312 (NW) 867 clear none 22:00 36 11 10 294 (WNW) 533 clear none 23:00 35 11 4 269 (W) 412 clear none 00:00 36 8 9 338 (NNW) 387 clear none 01:00 34 11 9 3 (N) 429 clear none 02:00 34 9 12 355 (N) 375 mstly clr none 03:00 34 9 16 1 (N) 526 mstly clr none 04:00 34 9 12 360 (N) 336 mstly cldy none 05:00 34 9 7 14 (NNE) 276 mstly clr none 06:00 32 9 11 5 (N) 278 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
