Reconnected the Agile filter wheel, which I noticed was disconnected while testing tui3; Gordon updated a few of the scripts and we tested them. No problems using tui3 for regular observing tonight. Nice clear weather with decent seeing! We had some thin clouds during B-half but nothing that obstructed observations. DSSI cart is parked between NA2 and NICFPS so that the instrument can remain plugged in, but beware of the cord across the floor at NA2. Nice quiet night, the telescope behaved well, and DSSI got a lot of time on sky! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:21 dssi 315( 669) 236 32 -2.4 -0.4 -0.6 -1.1 -1.9 692 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 29 12 1 258 (WSW) 358 clear none 17:00 28 15 2 271 (W) 302 clear none 18:00 28 15 5 344 (NNW) 308 clear none 19:00 28 13 9 319 (NW) 356 clear none 20:00 29 14 7 330 (NNW) 344 clear none 21:00 29 11 8 289 (WNW) 434 clear none 22:00 28 9 7 268 (W) 450 clear none 23:00 28 9 9 265 (W) 589 clear none 00:00 28 8 5 254 (WSW) 498 clear none 01:00 29 7 8 270 (W) 470 mstly clr none 02:00 28 0 7 269 (W) 336 mstly clr none 03:00 30 -2 10 267 (W) 283 mstly clr none 04:00 31 5 9 274 (W) 260 mstly clr none 05:00 30 4 8 288 (WNW) 293 mstly clr none 06:00 32 5 9 270 (W) 260 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
