NM06 was able to punch through them with the echelle and get science data, though, with good seeing (I forgot to run the focus-recording script when I initially focused after sunset, but it was 0.76"). NM06 handed over about 20 minutes early, so NA01 got a little extra time on sky. The skies were pretty much clear during B-half. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:12 ecamera 406( -350) 242 38 6.7 5.9 6.5 5.9 6.2 -- 0.84 00:54 tcamera 410( 869) 69 60 6.3 5.5 6.1 5.7 5.9 Ks 0.79 05:53 ecamera 420( -412) -69 56 4.6 4.5 5.2 4.5 4.4 ND1 1.07 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 49 24 7 199 (SSW) 921 cloudy none 17:00 46 24 11 206 (SSW) 1100 mstly cldy none 18:00 44 23 12 203 (SSW) 1028 mstly cldy none 19:00 43 23 11 201 (SSW) 1096 mstly cldy none 20:00 43 23 15 202 (SSW) 1235 mstly cldy none 21:00 44 21 19 198 (SSW) 887 ptly cldy none 22:00 44 23 18 185 (S) 797 mstly clr none 23:00 45 20 17 184 (S) 829 clear none 00:00 44 24 18 189 (S) 795 clear none 01:00 43 23 19 201 (SSW) 751 mstly clr none 02:00 43 24 23 197 (SSW) 697 mstly clr none 03:00 44 27 24 201 (SSW) 856 mstly clr none 04:00 43 29 27 195 (SSW) 961 clear none 05:00 41 30 18 190 (S) 944 clear none 06:00 40 30 14 204 (SSW) 1091 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
