There was also a telescope runaway during afternoon tours when stop button was pressed while mirror covers closed, which Bill fixed (thank you Bill!!!). When UW01 tried to take dome flats with ARCTIC we discovered that the shutter wasn't opening--after some troubleshooting, during which time I dropped a quad, we found a loose cable. I worked on bringing back the ARCTIC dropped quad and did some testing of KOSMOS buttons. We had mostly overcast skies with nearby radar for much of the night. We stayed closed. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 40 11 242 (WSW) 572 cloudy none 17:00 53 40 8 263 (W) 563 cloudy none 18:00 51 39 7 263 (W) 590 cloudy none 19:00 50 40 8 257 (WSW) 651 mstly cldy none 20:00 51 39 10 267 (W) 663 mstly cldy none 21:00 51 39 6 266 (W) 554 mstly cldy none 22:00 56 19 10 306 (NW) 309 cloudy none 23:00 52 38 3 320 (NW) 517 cloudy none 00:00 54 25 12 330 (NNW) 270 cloudy none 01:00 54 27 9 287 (WNW) 320 cloudy none 02:00 50 40 5 246 (WSW) 695 cloudy none 03:00 52 32 6 261 (W) 484 mstly cldy none 04:00 52 30 9 290 (WNW) 340 mstly cldy none 05:00 52 33 12 303 (WNW) 400 cloudy none 06:00 52 33 8 307 (NW) 444 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
