Then clouds and ambiguous radar signals kept us closed for a while. By the time conditions improved it was too late for the first half observers to get more useful data, so we switched over to the second half program a bit early. Then that program also lost some time to clouds and radar, but was able to finish up with exciting pictures of DART target Didymos! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:37 khigh 350( 885) 106 49 9.9 11.1 11.9 10.4 9.9 - 1.85 00:57 arctic 385( 868) 61 67 9.5 9.3 9.7 9.3 9.3 sdss_r 0.94 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 32 14 198 (SSW) 891 cloudy rain 17:00 54 31 6 93 (E) 985 ptly cldy none 18:00 52 31 13 80 (E) 993 mstly clr none 19:00 50 32 15 98 (E) 1030 clear none 20:00 50 31 15 96 (E) 1096 ptly cldy none 21:00 50 31 18 85 (E) 1158 mstly cldy none 22:00 50 31 13 93 (E) 1401 mstly cldy none 23:00 50 31 15 77 (ENE) 1532 ptly cldy none 00:00 49 30 11 86 (E) 1583 mstly clr none 01:00 49 31 11 85 (E) 1468 mstly clr none 02:00 48 31 11 91 (E) 1595 ptly cldy none 03:00 49 31 8 90 (E) 1340 mstly cldy none 04:00 49 31 12 111 (ESE) 1236 mstly cldy lt rain 05:00 49 31 12 119 (ESE) 1227 mstly clr none 06:00 48 29 12 129 (SE) 1158 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
