Second half had clouds growing thicker and radar signals approaching from the north, until I decided to close due to precipitation threat. I had difficulty mounting KOSMOS because the cart had been cranked too far forward so that it was difficult to get onto the mushrooms. Also the hooks were attached in a way that was very difficult to disconnect. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CU06 K I/H 00:25 00:38 KOSMOS cart too far forward ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:15 arctic 449( 731) -1 63 -0.1 0.7 1.5 0.5 0.8 sdss_r 0.99 20:19 dcamera 478( 517) -20 33 0.2 -0.3 0.2 -0.3 -0.0 - 1.74 21:40 ecamera 425( -434) -37 62 0.7 -0.2 0.3 -0.1 0.1 ND3 0.82 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 14 12 232 (SW) 352 mstly clr none 17:00 34 14 15 211 (SSW) 443 mstly clr none 18:00 32 14 13 199 (SSW) 518 ptly cldy none 19:00 32 15 15 208 (SSW) 473 ptly cldy none 20:00 32 16 16 215 (SW) 577 ptly cldy none 21:00 33 17 13 209 (SSW) 631 ptly cldy none 22:00 32 18 11 213 (SSW) 691 ptly cldy none 23:00 32 20 16 195 (SSW) 738 ptly cldy none 00:00 32 19 16 203 (SSW) 682 ptly cldy none 01:00 32 18 4 152 (SSE) 740 cloudy none 02:00 31 18 19 178 (S) 766 cloudy none 03:00 30 18 17 196 (SSW) 876 cloudy none 04:00 28 18 10 209 (SSW) 1047 cloudy none 05:00 28 18 15 225 (SW) 916 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
