Good seeing at the beginning of the night and moderate seeing at the end of the night contradicted the measurements made by Cyclops, but we only had the three official measurements at time of focus. Telescope and instruments all worked well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:16 ecamera 377( -257) 20 65 5.3 4.6 5.1 4.3 4.8 ND1 0.77 20:29 arctic 421( 885) 32 38 5.0 4.2 4.7 4.1 4.7 sdss_r 1.16 02:07 dcamera 443( 651) -152 39 4.4 3.4 4.2 3.3 3.8 - 1.42 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 4 3 345 (NNW) 336 mstly clr none 17:00 41 -9 17 27 (NNE) 205 ptly cldy none 18:00 42 -12 20 24 (NNE) 316 ptly cldy none 19:00 41 -11 18 11 (N) 217 mstly clr none 20:00 41 -14 17 20 (NNE) 224 mstly clr none 21:00 41 -20 15 18 (NNE) 196 mstly clr none 22:00 42 -21 11 10 (N) 295 ptly cldy none 23:00 40 -11 10 30 (NNE) 133 ptly cldy none 00:00 39 -20 1 126 (SE) 164 mstly clr none 01:00 42 -18 1 214 (SW) 135 mstly clr none 02:00 41 -15 2 223 (SW) 191 mstly clr none 03:00 38 -12 2 215 (SW) 232 ptly cldy none 04:00 40 -12 3 276 (W) 160 ptly cldy none 05:00 39 -6 2 227 (SW) 242 mstly clr none 06:00 39 -5 10 318 (NW) 153 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
