After cals, echelle got stuck with the message: failed: exposeTxt="cannot start a new echelle exposure while another is active". Restarting echelle and echelleExpose nubs brought it back. I took a few KOSMOS camfocus measurements but the temperatures were unstable all night (and our seeing reflected that). UW07 finished up at the start of twilight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:35 ecamera 520( -243) -37 77 1.5 2.0 2.9 3.4 2.8 ND1 0.90 23:03 tcamera 400( 872) -43 56 2.5 1.5 2.6 2.3 2.6 Ks 1.50 00:27 ecamera 342( -475) 21 78 1.7 0.9 2.0 1.3 1.5 ND2 1.85 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 38 25 1 325 (NW) 407 ptly cldy none 17:00 35 19 13 10 (N) 228 ptly cldy none 18:00 36 17 14 32 (NNE) 207 ptly cldy none 19:00 34 19 11 7 (N) 385 ptly cldy none 20:00 37 -10 20 21 (NNE) 42 ptly cldy none 21:00 40 -20 18 24 (NNE) 17 ptly cldy none 22:00 32 2 11 25 (NNE) 95 mstly cldy none 23:00 38 -15 13 42 (NE) 26 mstly cldy none 00:00 35 -6 15 52 (NE) 112 clear none 01:00 37 -8 17 35 (NE) 58 clear none 02:00 34 -4 22 32 (NNE) 68 clear none 03:00 38 -11 23 23 (NNE) 32 clear none 04:00 41 -18 18 21 (NNE) 20 clear none 05:00 40 -14 16 15 (NNE) 19 clear none 06:00 40 -14 16 12 (NNE) 31 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
