I got it within +/-4 and called it good enough after several attempts bouncing back and forth where it should be at. This is a known issue for this bay. No problems tonight. Elevated dust levels again. It is probably smoke from the fires in CA. Counts stayed below 6000 tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:56 dcamera 451( 1321) 194 61 14.6 17.9 18.1 18.5 16.7 -- 1.40 20:51 dcamera 619( 1368) 147 48 14.4 15.1 15.7 14.6 14.4 -- 1.38 22:00 dcamera 634( 1364) 149 16 14.2 14.1 14.7 13.9 14.1 -- 2.00 23:55 dcamera 396( 1066) 178 62 14.4 13.6 14.3 13.5 13.8 -- 0.99 01:04 AGILE 496( -871) 277 72 13.7 13.2 13.8 13.0 13.3 BG40 0.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 45 9 58 (ENE) 3326 mstly clr none 17:00 65 44 13 80 (E) 3556 mstly clr none 18:00 63 46 15 71 (ENE) 3582 mstly clr none 19:00 60 47 13 83 (E) 3606 mstly clr none 20:00 58 47 15 79 (E) 3741 clear none 21:00 58 47 16 77 (ENE) 3847 clear none 22:00 58 47 15 77 (ENE) 3921 clear none 23:00 58 42 14 79 (E) 3848 clear none 00:00 58 40 11 90 (E) 3848 clear none 01:00 56 47 14 114 (ESE) 4618 clear dust 02:00 56 48 10 113 (ESE) 4896 clear dust 03:00 56 47 7 113 (ESE) 5114 clear dust 04:00 56 48 13 133 (SE) 4981 clear dust 05:00 55 49 4 107 (ESE) 5373 clear dust 06:00 58 43 2 84 (E) 5417 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
