When the sky wasn't completely cloudy it was humid. When the humidity let up it was cloudy with radar near by. There was no real hope of opening tonight. During the evening, I attempted to bring back the Arctic quad drop that occurred while work on the Hub was being conducted this afternoon. I power cycled and restarted arctic as soon as the temp hit 192K but it still took four attempts to finally recover the quad. By that point, things had heated up quite a bit (220 K). Once I was able to recover the quad and bring the temperture back down, the ion pump started having difficulty and would not drop below E-5 Torr, repeatedly reading about 2E-5 Torr. I waited a few hours to see if it would stabilize but it did not and finally had to call Bill. He came in around 5am (after working until 10pm) to deal with the issue.
