Well, it is in pieces, on the floor of the lower enclosure, but it is still here!!! Wind shifted directions out of the east, this caused the seeing to degrade and the dust (smoke) level to rise. I could smell the smoke when I closed. Levels never exceeded 4000cts No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:17 ecamera 423( 374) 85 66 15.4 17.1 16.9 16.2 16.8 ND3 1.07 22:32 ecamera 378( 256) -33 32 15.8 15.0 15.7 14.8 15.3 ND1 1.30 01:12 tcamera 326( 1394) -23 56 15.3 14.1 14.9 13.7 14.2 Ks 1.00 03:05 tcamera 392( 1436) 63 59 14.7 13.7 14.4 13.6 13.8 Ks 0.95 06:00 tcamera 412( 1192) -14 52 7.5 8.0 9.6 8.2 7.8 Ks 2.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 32 16 266 (W) 566 clear none 17:00 64 30 15 246 (WSW) 479 clear none 18:00 66 32 7 272 (W) 581 clear none 19:00 60 29 5 322 (NW) 502 clear none 20:00 58 28 8 295 (WNW) 520 clear none 21:00 60 28 12 303 (WNW) 475 clear none 22:00 61 29 7 283 (WNW) 461 clear none 23:00 60 28 6 273 (W) 384 clear none 00:00 60 30 2 254 (WSW) 517 mstly clr none 01:00 61 31 2 236 (SW) 573 mstly clr none 02:00 58 30 5 8 (N) 599 ptly cldy none 03:00 58 28 8 22 (NNE) 647 ptly cldy none 04:00 51 32 20 66 (ENE) 1330 ptly cldy none 05:00 48 39 18 70 (ENE) 3572 ptly cldy none 06:00 46 40 24 71 (ENE) 3316 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
