There were a couple of minor instrument troubles but they were easily solved. We had a bit of a delay getting started for CU02 because I had a little trouble mounting NICFPS, and then when focusing, NICFPS exposures were all zero and/or had black and white bars and I needed to do a nicfps expose init to bring it back. At 10:33 NICFPS exposure failed. Another nicfps expose init brought it back. At about 01:30, the NA2 guider failed to take exposures with the error "expose failed: guider is running a previous command." I had to do a hub startNubs gcam + gcam init to get it working again. Otherwise everything went smoothly! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CU03 N I/H 03:36 03:50 Mounting trouble and detector reinit ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:40 tcamera 433( 1693) 217 47 16.7 18.1 17.9 17.4 16.8 Ks 0.97 20:53 NICFPS 268( 1678) 113 76 14.9 16.3 16.5 15.6 15.9 Fell-1.64 1.12 21:01 NA2gdr 5437(48437) 116 77 14.9 16.1 16.4 15.5 15.8 Clear 1.37 23:23 NICFPS 322( 1655) 248 72 15.8 14.7 15.2 14.4 14.8 Fell-1.26 0.74 23:26 NICFPS 300( 1632) 249 72 15.7 14.6 15.2 14.4 14.8 Fell-1.64 0.82 01:28 arctic 379( 1303) 98 58 14.7 14.3 14.9 14.1 14.5 J-C_B 0.98 01:38 NA2gdr -750(37249) 97 60 14.8 14.2 14.9 14.1 14.4 Clear 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 35 9 262 (W) 1155 clear none 17:00 70 36 9 237 (WSW) 1164 clear none 18:00 66 33 5 222 (SW) 1298 clear none 19:00 62 34 8 212 (SSW) 1337 clear none 20:00 62 31 8 198 (SSW) 1258 clear none 21:00 60 33 5 161 (SSE) 1327 clear none 22:00 59 32 6 182 (S) 1290 clear none 23:00 61 32 9 188 (S) 1265 clear none 00:00 60 30 10 185 (S) 1306 clear none 01:00 60 29 8 200 (SSW) 1361 clear none 02:00 58 29 5 206 (SSW) 2109 clear none 03:00 58 30 8 221 (SW) 2835 clear none 04:00 59 29 5 223 (SW) 1701 clear none 05:00 60 30 7 288 (WNW) 2219 clear none 06:00 60 30 9 316 (NW) 1637 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
