Nonetheless, the dust dropped a little below the limits (1.0um counts about 2700, 0.3um counts about 140k) before sunset, so I tried anyway. I managed to get the dome shutters open about 1/3 of the way before the wind visibly blew the telescope sideways and it almost collided with the dome, so I closed the dome. The actual wind measurements were only about 15-25mph sustained, 30mph gusts; we were pointing directly into the wind. The observer's targets were in the north, so we slewed to the north, opened there, and were fine for the rest of their time. We then checked and adjusted the focus offsets between instruments; this required a lot of instrument swaps and focusing, and I did not record which instruments were in use at which time. Sorry Jack! I started checking ARCTIC focus versus altitude after midnight, but rising humidity put a stop to that and we closed up about 01:07. The humidity dropped slightly below limits around 03:00, but was accompanied with clouds. In an attempt to make use of the second half of the night, and after the humidity seemed to have stayed below limits for a little while, I opened back up at 03:35 and tried the ARCTIC altitude vs. focus again- and was rewarded with fantastic seeing, as good as 0.53" in i-band.
